Darlinghurst: Lost and Found: George the Staffy

Have you seen George?
(He was taken by a tall white skinhead)
Please call 0409 982 048
$2000 Reward Offered

George was tied up to a pole on the corner of Darlinghurst and Bayswater roads about 5pm on Friday while his owner, Nahji Chu - the owner of Miss Chu - was inside a shop. When she returned, George was gone.
He was last seen being led by a tall, white skinhead down William Street.
Nahji is offering a $2000 reward for George's safe return and has plastered the neighbourhood's telegraph poles with fliers and set up this Facebook page in a bid to find him.

*
CORRECTION: It was Nahji's friend who left him tied to the pole. Meanwhile Nahji has enlisted a psychic in the search for George, while a rescue party is meeting at Miss Chu's on Bourke Street tomorrow morning to walk the streets in a bid to sniff out the staffy.

REWARD IS NOW $4K. It wasn't misschu herself that tied George to the pole but a friend who has learnt to biggest lesson of her life! Misschu would never leave George unattended in the Cross!

Good news! Georgie has been found. According to Miss Chu: ''REDFERN POLICE were patrolling in the car this morning & saw GEORGE & the guy that matched our description. They asked him if it was his dog and he said someone gave the dog to him last wk. The Police said they didn't think so & took George back to the station. They are going to arrest the man later today - they had to wait for the CCTV footage first.''

George is safe and sound at home. Thank you to everyone who helped in the search to find him. The psychic was not enlisted by Nahji, rather the psychic bombarded Nahji with messages. Nahji and the search team of volunteers and misschu's drivers were already looking in Redfern at all hours of the day and night. The drivers have been rewarded for their tireless efforts. It was the Redfern police who found him this morning. Special thanks to Christina Cleary who set up the facebook page, sent hundreds of tweets to everyone she could think of and went out in this awful weather with others to find George. Now off to give George a big hug!

sooooo pleased that George has been found and a pat on the back to the Redfern police. I hope the police are able to receive some sort of reward for their diligence.
